Fed Table
The Forum Fed Table is the very first build along project to hit the web. The project was inspired by the overwhelming enthusiasm and encouragement from forum members Tommy calls "The Forum 10." The guys who steered and built their own Fed Tables and posted all their progress in the Fed Table thread that came with a detailed procedure list, stock list, and tool list- another web first. this piece covers some pretty basic Federal style construction and embellishments, 4 different legs and feet, stringing, bell flowers, 2 bandings, a seriously cool sand-shaded fan, and a dovetailed drawer with a veneered front with applied cock-beading. This piece seemed easy but we all would admit it was much tougher than it looks...and we all learned a bunch and made some friends in the process.
